William, i plan to take a closer look this weekend. i have attempted to resist analyzing individual companies as much as possible as it tempts me to buy and i've gotten burned every time i've done so since 3/00. but i do agree with the james cramer article i posted recently. that we are in for an intermediate term bounce. and now that i have oodles of loss carryforward for the next 15 years i can certainly afford to do some trading. but i do feel like a rat on a little platform in his lab cage surrounded by an electroshock field that gets zapped every time he puts his paw out. it's less stressful to just sit motionless. and of course that's what bear markets are about. and how they eventually turn around. no more buyers.....and then eventually no more sellers.....

of course it all depends on how much discretionary $ one has at one's disposal at this point. i've felt since 5/00 that i had more to lose than to gain by investing/trading in equities. and i still believe that to a large degree. but i do plan to look this weekend and will let you know on sun or mon. ok? rob
