The purpose of prayer is not to bring God into conformity to your/our wants needs and desires, rather it is to bring you/us into conformity to His. Greg btw not sure who Yahuh is. The name Yahweh is known as the tetragrammaton, and represents the amalgamation of the consonants from the Hebrew word Yhwh, and the vowels from the divine name Adonai. this combination gave rise to the name Jehovah in English.
