"Don't think I don't recognize that, I do."

I knew a guy who was much smaller than the average height. He got picked on once in a while because of it. This guy was tough and became convinced that all "Big Guys" were by nature bullies. Everywhere this guy went he would find the biggest guy and after a short time they would end up in a fight. Some times the little guy actually defeated an opponent and would be glorified by his friends. When he lost, well, another big guy bullying the poor little fella.

A sensible person would conclude that this little guy had a little guy complex that resulted in a chip on his shoulder about any one taller than him. His "friends" encouraged him for the sport of it.

It reminds me of you and your friends attitudes about anyone who believes in God. Yes, you can occassionally find an example of bullying and oppression. It doesn't justify your meanness and intolerance of the rest. Most are not intolerant and you give them a bad rap because of your chip/complex/intolerance.

I, on the other hand, dislike many individuals

You AMPLY demonstrate this here on SI. In fact, it would be more accurate to say you dislike virtually all individuals, at least based on your posts here.

I, OTOH, like most people here, or at least am neutral as to likes or dislikes. I could count on the fingers of on hand the number of people here on SI I actually dislike, and I would have to count you more than once to fill up the entire hand. Oh, sure, I argue with people, but most of them I don't dislike.

But I do find it easy to dislike someone who denigrates the beauty of relationships, resents affection between people on line, and tries to kick people off threads to suit her personal whims. So you are one of the few who separates me from Will Rogers.

Edit: Although, come to think of it, he said he never met a MAN he didn't like. He didn't say anything about women!

BTW:

your "humorous" account of the train
that was pulled on some poor girl at St John's?

Huh? I have no idea what you're talking about.
