Yet another school in the news today in New York. Honor kids planning school shootings; seven guns recovered when the kids were arrested. When will it end. Do you really think these kids would be planning this sort of attack with seven knives? Guns have a way of emboldening those with some axe to grind, and actively encourages their aggressive and antisocial behavior.

You would have a better case if it was an impulse shooting in someplace where guns are allowed. The fact that they where plannning it means they probably would have been able to get around a gun control law that might have gotten in the way if they didn't all ready have the gun and wanted to shoot someone immediately. The guns didn't embolden someone with an axe to grind as much as the got the guns because they had an axe to grind. If they were going to face the penalty for murder I doubt that the penalty for having an illegal gun would deter them.
