MeDroogies, please, we now know you hold five shares, a lot of cash, and is bullish in the long term, not so much in the immediate future, but you prefer that others "but and hold" at least the five shares you are in, because you believe Bill Gross, Warren Buffet, John Templeton are saying things at odds with your publicly stated beliefs for their own personal reasons, and you believe Larry Ellison's excellently timed sales of ORCL shares was portfolio rebalancing.

I have not misrepresented anything or taken anything out of context, right?

Hi MeDroogies,

'I have a Templeton Fund account. I absolutely know his qualifications.' Not exactly the same dismissive tone :0)

'Had I listened to Alan Greenspan in December of 1997' Since you entered him into evidence :0)...
Anybody in the Long term 'Buy and Hold' mode that heeded Greenspan and his irrational exuberance spiel as the Nasdaq continued to smoke would probably be rather satisfied right now as opposed to bagholding. Older boomers are probably not so comfortable in today's environment, especially if they were counting on freedom 55.

'Similarly, I won't listen to the qualified authority figures now, because the numbers aren't there yet'
Agreed, listen to the numbers mainly, but on the other hand the source of an opinion determines the value of the opinion..

'As for the person who posted sardonically regarding my IQ and Jay's.'
Not me. If I doubted you're IQ I'd have you on ignore instead of reading you.

Enjoying the dialogue.

regards and good investing
