The 14th amendment is so damn broad that you could drive a truck through it, given the interpretation. Clearly, Miller reinforced the interpretation that the 2nd amendment applies to "reasonable relationship" to a "well regulated Militia", and specifically DID NOT GIVE THE RIGHT FOR INDIVIDUALS TO BEAR ARMS outside of that context. Period.

Cruikshank was prior to Miller, and thus superceded by Miller. Miller along with other more recent rulings are pretty clear on this.
