FYI from news:

PolyMedica says request reveals four customer complaints
WOBURN, Mass., March 23 (Reuters) - Medical services company PolyMedica Corp. (NASDAQ:PLMD) said on Friday that a Freedom of Information Act inquiry showed that the company received four customer complaints in June 1999.

The distributor of home test kits, syringes and other supplies to diabetes patients said that an analyst requested the documents but that no one in the senior management of the firm had been contacted by the government about the complaints. The company did not specify the nature of the reports from the customers but said it ships between 60,000 and 90,000 orders per month.

PolyMedica said the analyst made the request for the documents because of investigations being conducted by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The company said it issued the statement late Friday in response to a recent decline in its stock price, which plunged $16-11/16, or almost 50 percent, to $17 on Friday.

I took the afternoon off and missed a bunch of the action. PLMD management will teleconference Monday before the market opens. Four customer complaints two years ago that were so minor they weren't even reported to the company! What a joke! Procter and Gamble had 40,000 customer complaints last year! Shorts will get crucified next week. Don't sell a share to anybody.
