Some history:

Cosmic had told you, as had Patricia, that "Heritable mutation has been done with fruit flies and mutagens."

I also reported that my geneticist friend had said that your original claim was moronic. Here is your original claim, verbatim.:

<<No one has ever witnessed a successful mutation.>>
Message 15542920

You then changed your claim w/o admitting you had, to

<<I dare you to post one known mutation that occurred in a natural
environment that survived and passed on it's genes. >>
Message 15546893

and began to pretend I had made that claim, (the one I call your "flashlight in the forest" requirement) and also claimed I had URL's documenting it, when I had actually said this, citing laboratory mutations:

No one has ever witnessed a successful mutation? It happens in
laboratories all the time. Somebody ignorant of science said that on
feelies once. I called up a geneticist, who just laughed.

So, primitive, prevaricating joe, let's have you explicitly admit that your original claim has been demonstrated to have been moronic, and that that is why you had to change it.

While you're doing that, you might reply to a central question cosmic asked you:

So what exactly are you questioning? Speciation?
