Straight Arrow, I still do not understand why would people buy silver as a hedge. The major use of silver is "paper photography" and medical imaging. Both of these technologies will be remembered with the "buggies" in the next fifteen years. There is no other major use on the horizon, but there is ample supply and if the price went above $5 for any length of rime, there is ample of deposits available these prices. Furthermore, the CRB has turned down, why will silver be a hedge? A hedge against what? A financial calamity?
