there were two great powers in the world. people wondered which was stronger. after soviet union folded, the question remained. after brooklyn dodgers went to los angeles the question remained. after wcw merged into wwf, the question remained. the answer has always been imho superman can kick batman's ass. i won't go into the reasons here. btw- note i never considered spiderman in the running- it has nothing to do with perlman- a latter day meshulam riklis-which is still another matter.
a real question. which is worse picking your nose or picking a bottom.

Didn't TNN used to be The Nashville Network? It is now called The National Network, and I don't know if I had it wrong all these years. I just started watching TNN because they started airing the Miami Vice reruns I have been waiting for since high school.

KT,

I think the plan calls for WWF and WCW to be run separately - at least initially.

I agree with you about salaries. Vince is in a powerful position to dictate salaries.

Bret Hart is finished. No way he works for Vince.

My guess is that over time there will some cross organization incidents on TV that will lead to big PPV events.

I think there's too many wrestlers between the two organizations to keep interesting story lines going.

IMO, there can only be so many stories going on at once for the show to be entertaining. I think a lot of second tier guys are going to find themselves out of work.

To All Cheapskates, Problems in Bluefly Land again. I ordered two shirts and two suits with the 20% off coupons. Both shirts were superb. One suit was perfect. But the other suit was 10 sizes too small. AGAIN! They don't seem to have this European vs. US sizes problem whipped yet, though I thought they had after all of my trials and tribulations and nasty complaints last year. They have now sent me a total of 4 suits that were each 10 sizes smaller than what I ordered. Returns are relatively painless, but I don't get the suit and I am still waiting whether I can use the 20% off coupon on a replacement, as it has expired.

I will keep you posted.

I am seeing the steady deterioration of a once-great thread. The subject has changed from Micron and Compaq to suit sales and the WWF. It's gone from the legendary Steve (whatever happened to that sphincter?) to Rick Flair. Speaking of WWF, it's definitely too stoopiddd even for me and I'm someone who definitely likes his daily dose of stoopiddd. BUT does anyone remember the WWF back in the late 70s. Tres campy. Fred Blassie, Capt. Lou Albano and the Grand Wizard. Piss your pants laughing. Of course, the matches sucked, but the interviews were priceless. Now, it's just stoopiddd, while lacking the hilarity. I remember a young Vince unable to keep a straight face while standing there, in bedroom slippers, interviewing Blassie. It was "Lost in Space" in tights. Ah, how money corrupts.

Speaking of pissing my pants, I almost did so whilst reading a novel by Matt Beaumont entitled "e" (anyone know a shorter title?). If you guessed email, go to the head of the class. Epistle-type novel as seen entirely through the email of an fictitious advertising agency. Be prepared for mucho laughing out loud; in places, I cried I laughed so hard. Bookoo hilarious.
