Well it's back to the ol' drawing board...

I guess I'll just have to search for more quotes and lay off the wav files...

Spring refuses to show it's face in my corner of the country.
Yesterday was spring like at work but my home is so far away that the weather is different...

I thought today was going to be nice. My wife an I took the boys to the "Kids Expo" in Poughkeepsie. It's like a street fair that takes place in the center of the city. They shut down Main St. and have different activities and booths set up for things for the kids to see or do. It was a little too cold and damp to enjoy the outdoor activities like the fire trucks or the demonstration by the Sanitation Dept. fancy new garbage truck...<g>
It was difficult to walk by the food vendors with the smell of sausages, burgers, and hotdogs grilling. I had to keep my blinders on... My mouth is still watering... Friggin' carrots do not erase the desire for the tasty artery cloggers...
The indoor exhibitions were jam packed with people. Walked out with a ton of free stuff. Toys for the kids and enough pencils and pens to last for a few years... and a few more refrigerator magnets...(I think our old refrigerator is being held together by magnets... I walk near it and my belt buckle forces me to point in that direction... lost cub scouts think our house is the north pole... our silverware drawer gets pulled open when ever I open the freezer door... I think you get the idea...)

Afterwards we took a nice drive through the countryside.

My mind is clear now. I'm now ready to finish my taxes tomorrow... I hate doing all that math due to stock trading... I wish Datek had an easier way. I'm too lazy to keep an up to date spread sheet. I sit down at the end of the year and play with my calculator all day long. Takes the fun out of trading. So do the losses...
It's a waste of a perfectly good day. That alone should be reason enough for an extra deduction...
