papf, "don't look." man, when i get advice like that i open my slanty eyes to bubble eye size and look 360 degrees. and that ain't easy for me. ;-) have you heard the merrill lynch commercial? what will you remember about 2000? christmas? thanksgiving? burning up your portfolio? come to ml for advice. well, the inference (but most definitely not communicated as fact!) is that mother merrill didn't torch their own portfolio and the portfolios of those that listened to them over the same time frame. WRONG. the REAL meaning is "let merrill lynch torch your portfolio instead of you. that way, you'll have more free time while your money burns up."
