pumping financial crack into the system isn't the solution. that is what got us to this point! you can't just print your way out of all problems. they may reinflate the bubble (maybe, maybe not!). if they do, by definition folks won't be selling en masse and people will be buying.

We could look at this from a variety of angles. My angle is the inflation of stock prices makes the consumer feel wealthier. If the consumer feels wealthier, they are likely to spend more on luxury items. I sell luxury items and that is how I make my living. So let's get this stock market back up there:-)
