A lot of the press coverage that was anti-Talisman and anti-Arakis in the past, was a possible attempt to takeover a rich oil lease, after the lease was found to contain a lot of oil. When drilling first started, no one was positive of what would result. Many onshore areas are suspect in prior failed drilling attempts. Lundin is identical to Arakis.
It has just been proven that Lundin does have a lot of crude on it's lease, so someone wants to buy out the lease cheap, by starting political rumors. Give it away for pennys? or big bucks?
