H Peterson, I would also try downloading this program as I think I reconize a couple of programs. lavasoft.de It's a program to remove spyware. EDIT: Upon checking it appears I was mistaken, I still reccomend it for downloading though.

What they do... In System Information, under Tools, select System Configuration Utility, Startup tab. This will list what's running and tell you the file names where the code is located. Enter these file names into on-line search engines and you'll discover plenty of information. While you're at it, put the file name into the text box of Find and see if a text file on your system offers hints. Don't overlook Windows' Help either. Use Find to locate the files, right click them, and select Properties. Peek through the tabs, and you'll be amazed by what you discover. If you encounter a mystery, you'll have what you need to frame your questions accurately. Many systems only need Explorer and SysTray. Everything else is extra. Cheers, PW.
