It's like they sell dollar bills for .60 cents.....I mean even a fool can see how flawed their model was/is....... First of all, if AMZN was obvious to be a flawed business model it would not have been traded at $150/shr! Therefore it seems there were quite a few people who did not know this! As for why I am calling AMZN the mother of all e-commerce, it is simple: This is all they do, period! AOL's business model is not based on e-commerce!! e-commerce is only a tiny fraction part of its business. And even AOL does not quite make money based on its e-commerce offerings. Should they rely on their e-commerce they would go out of business! As for EBAY, that is one business model that works. They sell stuff and based on what they sell they get a piece of the action regardless of how much the stuff is sold for! To characcterize what ebay does as a pure e-commerce is not quite accurate. Point being - as I sated - there will be only a few models of the type such as EBAY, and AOL that would survive. However because of their limited numbers they can not possibly drive the growth of infrastructure builders like Sun in high double digits/tripple digits of the past 2 years! As for what I am smoking?! Actually I am a non-smoker and to this date have not smoke anything. In fact believe it or not I do not drink either any alchoholic bevrage, coffee or for that matter tea. Lots of diet cafein free soft drinks (such sa diet caffein free pepsi, and diet coke, etc.) though! I do also like SUNW as a long term investment, adn that is why I am a share holder. All I am saying is as investors we should bring our expectations down to earth, for which if we do not our investments can not possibly go up in value! Regards,
