Consider upgrading to Win2K on the other computer, getting at least 256 MB of RAM, and purchasing a 1500 Mhz Pentium 4 processor. Then you'll be able to run antivirus programs, browsers, etc., too.

And keep those cats away from the electrical cords.

I took quite a different approach -- the obtuse approach. I upgraded nothing, and uninstalled just one program from my Altair 8800. Seemed to do the job rather nicely. Now things are just purring along.
