My view is down too but I won't be backing it with as much money on the next leg as I did on the last unless we get a nice rally here, in which case I'll back up the truck again. I think there's a pretty good chance it will be a news catalyst that breaks the backs of the latest round of buying, especially the SOX, but maybe that's wishful thinking due to my positions. If no catalyst, I think time is against the bulls in that they have to demonstrate momo price action and make it believable to keep from losing control of the whole thing. I just stay short or hold puts on enough stocks/sectors that something or other should always be falling in the not too distant future, that's been working for a while now and should keep working especially in non-tech until the trend changes.

tech could rally for a day or two --- I don't think you are going to scare a bunch of shorts into covering unless it gets a lot more serious on the upside --- all the volume last week and so little movement up?

It doesn't impress me ... why is everyone trying to pick a bounce spot. Safe way to play it is simply lighten up a little on days we are down hard and reload as we bounce ...

Buy a few tech calls if you want, but it's a low percentage play, IMO -- I would just stay short old economy stuff
