gdr, in simple terms, people use debt to bring future purchases into the present. the more they do so, the fewer the future purchases.

rob peter (future) to pay paul (present).

i prefer a pay as we go approach, so we don't end up creating a nasty future.

we have already robbed peter to a large extent. i can't see why we ought to make it worse.

negativity ? to what ? if it is towards each other, well perhaps we could clean up our acts, but if it is negativity to dot com stocks, perhaps that is still merited and you need to separate the behaviour of the posters here from the underlying messages...

i.e. kis ain't my favourite poster but he sure was right...
you are much more likeable but haven't been so right...

Glenn, this concerns me because I've been told the same by others via pm's.
If I thought for 1 minute this thread is all about negativity, and does not encourage open minds, I'd leave it in a heart beat.
Is it still ok with you to be negative on Amazon.com?
