Car Cover

Thanks TL.......Before I built the carport addition onto the garage, and before I had the firebird, I had a corvette....very sweet. And Black, so in this part of the country, the first thing I did was buy a car cover.....a top of the line one, at that. Two things.....One, the cats seemed attracted to the material of the car cover...they liked slepping on it, and using it to knead their claws....not good!.....Then I noticed the smell of urine on the cover one day, so a cat must have pissed on it....no problem...threw it in the wash and all was good.....But another thing with the car cover I noticed, they can easily scratch the paint......the car and cover both have to be very clean to avoid this....I noticed little scratches popping up here and there....came from the cover rubbing small particles on the car......How did/do you avoid that....I mean if you go out and drive the car, it will get some dirt on it....then you put the cover on and the cover can rub the dirt particles and cause minor scratches??

Thanks......Think I am going to put some pepper all over the floor....cat will have to walk thru it just to get to car....hopefully the cats wont like this and will find another hang out.........

Thanks Keith
