"Trying to think of a way to keep people interested"

It's fairly hard to keep people interested when the market goes down week, after week, after week, after week.

If some of you guys want to try something to put a spark back in the contest, by all means go ahead. You certainly have my blessing. It would be great to see what you guys come up with.

regards,
Al

Hi tyke. The reason I think this has been a good contest so far is it's simplicity. I don't really want to suggest any changes that would make it more complicated but don't like to see people leaving just because they have had a bad week or two and so don't want to make a pick that is not a contest winner. ( I have seen many that take a big hit and a person could make good bucks on if they play them the right day. ) The only thing I can come up with that would be in the spirit of simplicity is to keep a seperate running total of a individuals picks. This would keep the interest carried from week to week and only have to be calculated once a week, month, or on any basis the board would decide. It could be tied into a "super guru" title given out monthly, quarterly, or yearly.

Not wanting to change anything but don't like to see the contest dwindle instead of grow. I need all your input to try and stay alive in this game.

Regards,

bk
