Les, I heard the other day a noted expert predicting $2.50-3.00 gas for Cali this summer, and $2.50 for Florida, and likely New York (east of Hudson)...ouch....

Les...I think rising gasoline prices are a good bet this summer, in part due to the near-panic in the heating oil market this winter causing refineries to switch over to HO production sooner and longer than normal. The relatively constrained refinery capacity in the US is another factor supporting gasoline. Refining margins have been up. I actually bought a little Sunoco last week for just these reasons.
