Tony, >Why do so many people find it necessary to trash the Bay Area and leave the rest of the country alone?<

Sour grapes?

Gottfried :)

Take it easy Tony. I live in the Bay area and love it. Was not attempting to "trash it". Just posting some current stories.

There was interest in bay area real estate on this board a while back.

OT Hi Tony and Tushar,

Thank you for the article on real estate.

RE: "Prices in the Bay Area softened last year as well but came back to go even higher. "

Is this for sure?

I ask because the statistics I saw showed YOY gains, but a ST decrease.

I'm keeping my eye on real estate pricing, so any information about this (from you or other folks) would be useful.

Thank you,
Amy J
