Sorry you were offended. I certainly didn't mean any harm. My apologies.

As far as giving too much credit to Holyfield and not enough to Ruiz, I stand by my assertions about that fight both pre and post fight. Holyfield is a Hall of Famer and an all time great. Hard to give enough credit to him for what he's accomplished in his career.

As for Ruiz, I've praised him and given him his just due for what he was able to accomplish in his two fights with Holyfield. His prior career record is mediocre at best.

Still, my lasting impression of Ruiz - Holyfield II is Ruiz laying on the floor after getting KO'd by Holyfield and finding a sympathetic ref who bought his BS act.

Obviously you don't think much of De La Hoya who IMO is also a future Hall of Famer. A few of Gatti's fights will be remembered as comeback of the century classics, however, I don't think anyone would mistake Gatti as a future Hall of Fame fighter.
