Hi Shack,
Interesting stuff about waves... I know Murphy discusses them in his book, & a lot of extremely intelligent people on S.I. use them & also discuss them....

Wow! This T.A. education that I'm getting from u guys will never stop... Really appreciate your T.A. knowledge & sharing it here on this thread.

Thanks! :)

Peter

Hey Shack. Nice chart. Elliott Wave Theory is yet another area I know very little about.

I usually think it has almost the market predictive value of astrology. <gg>

Sorry, just kidding.

I really enjoy the education I am receiving here.

I am trying to learn more about the techniques the rest of you have been using.
It's obviously been quite successful.

Anything you care to share about Elliott Wave Theory, I'll be reading.

Speaking of waves, (and completely off topic) my wife gave me the sailing book, GodForsaken Sea for Christmas.

It's a great read for any sailors out there.

Thanks Shack. You keep teaching, I'll keep learning.

Cush

They don't always come in 5 Shack. Impulse waves come in 5 (1-5). Corrective waves come in a variety of forms, but most have an overall 3 (a-b-c) structure -- within those three they are variations such as 5-3-5 for a-b-c and 3-3-5 for a-b-c.

I recommend Elliott Wave Principle by Frost and Prechter for those who want to study e-waves.
