The Fed is about 2-5 months late getting started. Thus, the slowdown will be deeper than otherwise. In addition, consequences of the global slowdown is yet to be reported by GE. GE will have a not so spectacular 1st Qtr and will have a worse 2nd Qtr, year to year.
In addition, everyone is going to scrutinize GE's earnings report for tricks, eg pension fund gains, etc. Altho, I doubt there is much pension fund gain this Qtr. jmo - but remember that I told you.

Thanks for the definition.

Good luck to you also.

<<DON'T FIGHT THE FED>>

Why not?

No one ever said one ought to fight financial gravity instead.

If the Bank of England can be taken down by one hedge fund and its friends, and Bank of Japan can be taken down by one bubble, why not the FED? Admittedly harder, but no law against it.

BoJ can drop rate to zero, and Japan withstood the pain. Can the maestro do the same in the US? Answer is no, and therefore DJIA, SPX and QQQ will be humbled by bubble economics, GE along for the ride with the rest of the flotsam.
