Sam, yes - if you look at btb vs price you'll see that price dipped again the month btb hit the final low. i17.yimg.com

It's hard to see, so let's look at price for Sept '98 when btb hit a low...looks like price hit a low intraday Sep 10. chart.yahoo.com

But, you would not have know the btb yet and even if you had known, you wouldn't have known it was the low.
