I think many people fail to recognize how dynamically all markets can change in a short amount of time. I could never understand people that were buying say, NITE, at any price because they are not guaranteed to even have a business in 5 years. That's the same argument that should be made for why many tech and especially software companies should command lower valuations than non-tech due to the ephemeral nature of their products and markets. This crap will all sort itself out now that an endless stream of secondary's and funny money acquisitions will not be there to distract from the subject at hand, which is where cash will flow from when nobody has anymore cash to "manufacture" for lack of a better word. What the clowns have forgotten is that money is what makes the world go round when the music stops, and for the first time they need to be concerned about where that money is going to come from.
