Re: Bugs and Hacks

Hackers target what's available and popular. Windows is the most frequently targeted OS simply because it is the most popular and widely available OS on the planet. As Linux grows it becomes an attractive target, mainly due to its availability in university environments. If and when OS X garners meaningful install numbers then it too will become a target. Until then, like BeOS and others its advocates are welcome to pretend that the lack of hacking attacks on it are a reflection of something more than lack of meaningful market share.

with all of these reported security holes in Linux and Windows, I think more people will think seriously about running their Internet servers on Mac OS X.

ROTFL! You are jokng, right?

Isn't this the same fantasy that Macophiles have been spewing for over a decade? Get with reality; AAPL will always be a niche player and nothing more.
