SB: Great link... and absolutely right on the money: "Following UPI's recent article on the bad debt by Chinese banks, it is a mystery no longer: They don't achieve such growth rates. They cook the books." I recommend this link that you posted to anybody who wants to understand what is going on in China. But make no mistake -- there ismore to the story. The shift from State owned enterprises and the urbanization process for 100's of millions of people is going forward at a fast pace -- this is the part of the story that is hard to fully grasp. But as for the economic growth -- as the article states, a lot of infrastructure but not much to show for it.
