I am referring to the democratic party and those that vote that way when I say socialist, I know that is not exactly accurate but it's a close enough definition for me. There are non-socialist democrats, but they are rich already. The bulk of the population listens to the popular press and takes what they say at face value. The bulk of the population believes in imaginary spirits and stuff like that. Taking the other side of their trades or thoughts is usually a good idea, I have found in my limited experience. Shrub is no brain surgeon but that's not a top requirement for a good leader.
