Bearamania II - Tape Painting & Window Dressing vs warnings & misses... We've talked about the coming end of quarter window dressing/tape painting by fund managers for a while here on this thread & it's probably a given. But, imo - they'll try to drive their 2nd tier companies - as trying to crank CSCO, or SUNW here isn't going to be quite as easy. That may give some who see enough reward as opposed to being caught in a earnings reporting capitulation - a quick trade; but hardly a great risk vs reward opportunity imo. The continuation of misses, lowered numbers and a complete & total lack of guidance for the recovery will imho; lead to the next leg down in the continuing BEAR that's just going to use Q1 Tech reporting as a feeding frenzy to re-energize. April imo; is going to wash out quite a few traders...
