Hi Robert, I still have a TD Waterhouse account for my RRSPs. Talk about a difference in speed and cost between them and my US brokers. Most Canadians don't have a clue what they are missing so they don't complain. The Canadian banks have it great - high commissions and they don't have to spend any money on upgrades. I was lucky enough to open a few US broker account and get grandfathered when Canada put the axe down on Canadians opening accounts. To bad I didn't open a IB account a few years ago.
