The tines act as strong resistance during the day.

Where we close, that is which side of a tine we close, sets the most likely direction near term.

A high, low, open, close chart would show a blur of activity around the mid tine. The first three times that the index tested it we fell like 10 points below it and then got pulled back up above it by close.

Now then .. we broke through and closed below the mid tine. Then we moved back up and closed only a half point below it.
That was then the slam dunk move to the lower tine.

Now then .. we closed well above the lower tine. Because of how far we closed above it, I would not be surprised to see a retest or three with closes much closer ..

If we close below that line .. we're in free fall city.
