"i don't see speculation" Mark, given the slower pace of economic growth, the risks of global contagion and the excesses from last year which are still not completely washed out of the market, anything more than a very modest rally is speculative and not healthy. If you want to see strong long term growth, pray that stocks do not rebound sharply even for a month or two -- that would set us up for a very, very damaging relapse into a bear market which few of us would be able to weather.
