It will be interesting to see the Market reaction to this. Is CSCO really a bellweather anymore? And why is Chambers going out of his way to be super realistic or perhaps even unduly negative lately? Does he want to take pressure off his company's performance? Does he want to try to persuade the Feds to lower rates sooner rather than later? And just because CSCO is finding the going tough, is JNPR or VRTS or CIEN? They certainly have not been saying negative things lately. In fact, quite the opposite. They're quite positive.

If the Market shrugs it off his comments tomorrow, it could be ready to rally. If it doesn't, we may not be ready for a couple weeks at least. Maybe a month or two.
