Good point. I am more surprised by the 'short pants = evil' than depressed. The depressing part is the out-and-out lies. I think I already reiterated the other Jerry F show I saw; we were in FL at DW during the recount, and I watched his show where he had an 'investigative reporter' who reported that: 1) Widespread Democratic voter fraud in ALL states, not just Florida. 2)Proof that the networks conspired to call Florida prematurely to throw the vote to Gore 3)Proof that the US Postal Service was intercepting absentee ballots and changing their votes from Bush to Gore. His followers see this charade, and believe it. Why not? He is a Man of God, and surely he would not lie to us (note to viewers: see Swaggart, Bakker, etc). This is the truly depressing part. But you make a good point; just as I do not judge the Amish even though they have 'different' ways, I should not judge the far right for their different views of morality (as long as they don't try to impose their ideas on the rest of society).
