I feel bad for any exposures to heavy metals that someone may have had. These are the worse kinds of pollutants in many ways. My dad worked around Be (and a lot of exotic metal alloys) and I think it may have affected him. Lots of metals are reaction facilitators and ion transport mechanisms. You don't want uncontrolled biosynthetic reactions (or enzymatic poisoning of intermediate transport mechanisms). Many of these affect the brain, immune system, or a variety of other systems.

I was in Wyoming and missed it but I was thinking on the drive, do you remember that Scotch Guard chemical that people used to spray on their carpets and couches. If your dear old mom or granny did that you will have those toxic chemicals in your system. I'll try and find out more about it and post a link, I heard the company was settling a lot of cases near where they manufactured the product because everyone is contaminated with lethal Scotch Guard molecules.

I was beginning to think that Americans really were gun crazy when I got near Billings. Lights, guns, cameras, helicopters, I guess Bush was arriving at the same time I was, how presidential of him.
