Max, I disagree on the employment situation. I hire people, so I have a bit of insight into the current situation in my area. It just means that instead of digging up dead people to fill our jobs or having nothing but drug addicts and mentally impaired applying, we have some people who have actually previously held a job and are seeking work. Most of the people I've hired in the past year are being paid 50% more than those I hired 5-years ago, and this is entirely market driven. Things are slowing down, but recession? No. Normality? Yes.
