4-6% growth of $1.7 trillion spending by the government in a $14 trillion economy going towards $16 trillion, is not smaller government?

You have to guard against the wrong perspectives made by the Bush administration, so far. Bush does not even have the beginners luck to go along with the status quo(an on going economy that is driven by stock market 401k money growth and "land subdivision" population growth). Both are intact, if he doesn't screw them up sooner than we can stop him.

We may be passionate of our politics, but the kid is just a kid; we are better off with his father.
