mike, I watched a Discovery Channel show about a week ago which confirmed that there is zero Neanderthal genetic material in current humanoids. They have discovered a skeleton of a 4 year old boy in Spain that appears to be Cro Magnon skull but Neanderthal limbs. -No genetic testing on the skeleton or teeth yet. But they suggested that Neanderthals died out gradually and actually cooperated with Cro Magnon types, suggesting that Neanderthals failed due to lack of language skills as the Cro Magnon. I'm not sure how anyone will prove what really happened....
