The news in the LA papers this weekend confirms this feeling in spades. It is shaping up to be quite interesting. There was very little positive comment. Ca. has run through a tremendous tax surplus in just months. Davis is still stumbling, cities are beginning to openly dispute power rights. Rates are going up 50 to 100 percent in some areas. The vultures are circling.

Well, when the power goes out my work is in stasis. I look toward potential power loses with much ambivalence. Maybe a good time to learn to wind surf, no?
