OT re EMC:

I've posted my thoughts on the Gorilla, EMC, and NTAP threads. As the storage subsectors merge together, NTAP has a bigger market to sell into, but also must face direct competition with EMC. I think it's too early to say who the eventual winner will be. I'm leaning toward EMC, but I think, for at least the next 3-5 years, both will do well. When I conclude one is pulling ahead, I'll sell the other. Both are strong companies, selling into a market growing at 50%/year. The safest thing to do now, is to buy both (once they've finished going down). NTAP is still overvalued, EMC less so.
