JQP - "Post Margin Call Stress Syndrome" ? (and yes; that's a rhetorical question) What the hell was that manic-depressive ramble ? Take one margin call & add 3 Gin & Tonic's for breakfast, a couple more mid morning & by lunch time you'll be seeing "STEALTH RALLIES" too I guess - ROFLMAO Ohh... and let me guess; It was those damn hedge funds - right ? ... they got you again (roflmao)! The NAZ is up .026 of a point here - I guess you'd have to say that's pretty damn "stealthy" now wouldn't you ? ,,, about as "stealthy" as they get (VBG). JQP - you are lost & clearly so. Your posts of late clearly transmit not just fear, but complete & total confusion. You just had to be in, you just had to have some "action", you just had to flitter-flutter jump from one sector to another, from one trade to another; you just couldn't step back; take a breath & re-group - getting a handle on what the market is doing & waiting for it to settle down... No; with JQP - "baby needed a new pair of shoes" on a daily baisis... (even though "baby" is 35 years old & is named Bruce) ~ You also have ALLWAYS failed to take profits and walk away from any subsector final blow off tops. You've never seen a dip that wasn't buyable & that has been your deathknell. You just can't walk away, can't quit trading, can't sit in any degree of cash... no; you've just got to have that "action" - dontcha Mr. Junkie ? Most unfortunately; it was your tech forray that just erased your ability to exit the Oilpatch will still respectable returns. Forcing trades, seeing "rallies" at NASDQ 19ooish and doubling down into cycle rollover with the fractional capital you have left in Oils; isn't going to "get you well"... You blew it. You got greedy. You failed to pocket substantial Oil & Gas Profits and walk away. You tried to get greedy by making a portfolio leveraged bet that you could catch "THE BOTTOM" in Tech for a "V" bounce; but you didn't. You rode the NAZ non-stop down from 3500 to 1900 and let Tech eat up all of your Oil & Gas profits and now you're "busted out" for the 3rd time in the same Oil-Boom cycle via margin calls. You failed to learn from your mistakes & that was the final nail in your coffin. Time to re-re-re-Mortgage the Condo (at least rates are lower this time) & time to go back to work Q... Hey; look on the bright side - you'll be able to tell your brother & sisters grandkids someday about how you blew your lump sump 401k rollover in the day-trading bubble at the turn of the millenium... Pithy-Bithy is , as pithy-bithy does... PS: ... I feel your pain, really; I do. - well; I guess not "really" - but, I'm trying ~ Ciao~
