My buddy owns "The Killer", he loves it. Not really my bag but I made an exception for "Crouching".

Killer was really good, there's also a pretty good French film called Le Samourai that influenced it

Douglas in Traffic reminded me of his role in Falling Down. I did not find it credible that a federal judge would turn vigilante, they've got cops to do their dirty work. Del Toro was very good. The whole movie was good. I thought it was too arty for the mainstream - the week after it opened here they moved it out of the big room at the multiplex and into a small one, without doing time in the middle like hits do.

Crouching Tiger has incredible special effects, like The Matrix. It is also has a much richer story line than the usual action movie.
