I may have to re-think my investments with Oppenheimer. Maybe they just want re-assurances that things will be ok before they put more money to work. Geez, how many times does QCOM have to inform the investing public before they get it into their THICK SKULLS. They just need to load up and shut up.

I assume this means that friends of Openheimer are either still short QCOM, or ... not yet as long QCOM as they wish to be ...

There is no way that anyone who has been listening to Qualcomm management (and -- who can think) could be confused as to whether or not things are going well right now (and, in the future) for Qualcomm.

Jon.

Well, believe this: The Q is now in 30-day quiet period before earnings are announced on April 25, and there were no warnings. On the contrary, at least twice we heard the words "comfortable" from Q's management, including Dr. J.

Yeah, I know, we're all a bunch of dummies compared to the Hahvud grads.

RE: your comment yesterday about how buy orders on Island seem to be closing in on sell orders. As of now, buys are within 10 of sells, no make that 6. We have not seen this since the halcyon days of yore (or was that only early last year?).

"...Openheimer out talking down Q, saying quarter is in question...."

Oppenheimer has been buying Qualcomm, while talking it down.
These guys aint stupid, they loading up while scaring others away.
