<<UF, I completed transitioning my LT NTAP position of '03 Leaps from $50 to $20 today.
Regards,>>

Good move, IMO, of getting out of the 03 $50's while they had some value, but may I ask why you paid such a hefty premium for the $20's....looks like mid $9's for the 03 $20's.......50% premium on a stock whose chart shows more downside......my guess is had you waited, you could have bought the 03 20's for $5 or so eventually, or ntap the stock for $14ish.........thats just the charts talking, not me...I have no idea what ntap does....my chart says buy it at $14, or dont buy it at all <ggg>........surely it will run to the $40's now <ggg>......seriously, with the charts for ntap not looking too good and the possibility that this bear sticks around a little longer then we expect, I would have sold those 03 50's like you did and just bought the stock at $19ish, rather then pay over $9 for the leaps which could be worthless in a year and a half....at least you can sleep at night knowing that eventually the stock should come back, but expired leaps cannot........Now, had the premiums been $4 or $5, then maybe I use the leverage and buy some of the leaps at that price, but why pay over 50% on the leap premium, when you could have the stock for less then 50% more....anyway, good luck......I am only bringing this up because ntap is on my "want list"...stock or options, whichever ends up being the better deal....but right now I am in waiting mode.....as I said, Ntap at $14 is what my chart says to buy it at and I also was looking at the 03 20's and 03 30's........the charts are telling me $5, maybe $4 on the 03 20's......just thought I'd pass it on........great company, no doubt...storage will only grow, and ntap will get their fair share of the market.....with this in mind, I personally would have bought the stock instead of the leaps at this point....ask me again in two weeks or two months and maybe my answer is different, but If I am not going to listen to my charts and wait for my price, then I wouldn't chase it with high premium leaps, with the stock so cheap......gee, am I repetitive or what.....two of my worst habbits are I am always repetitive when discussing something, and I try and type as fast as my mind goes, which creates alot of typo's and mispellings.....since this is just an informal thread and not a work project, I do not waste time proof reading or spell checking.....and most of the time my posts read like a 4 year old wrote them <ggg>

hey, good luck with your ntap...didnt want to ruffle your feathers....just sharing what the charts were showing me, which I think I mentioned earlier this morning to ed.....I hope I miss ntap and it shoots to the moon for you, ed and everybody else thats in it......
