no offense intended but:

Would anyone in their right mind buy earthlink when a variety of ISPs are trading at steep discounts?
What makes earthlink different? Why not let PSIX go chapter 11 and buy their assets at yardsale prices?

I've never shorted a stock but this might be an exception. Any downside to buying puts other than the loss of the premium?

If Earthlink needs more capacity, why not merge or buy PSINet. Presumably, PSIX has broadband capacity and for 25 cents a share.
