Hi Boa Babe,

Let me jump in the discussion for a moment. I have DSL connection on the one line coming into my house. I have an alarm monitor, answering machine and seven phones on the same line. The DSL modem connects into the same line, and has an outlet for regular phone line at my computer. If I want to plug in a Fax Machine into any of the outlets it will work along just fine with the DSL.
No, I can't install my software to receive or send Fax using the DSL connection, but I have an old 33.6kb modem which is installed and works just fine, to send and receive Fax from my computer. So the answer is, get a modem, set it up and use it as a regular connection to the phone line and your problem is solved. At least it works for me in my area.
