van, management teams are often the most gullible folks. the bottom line is the netscape deal was mostly stock (i don't know this, however i know how these deals get done and i bet it was mostly stock).

KP and their partners still had a lot of Netscape stock. They are dominant on the board of Netscape and also on AOL at that point in time. The stock of Netscape was exchanged for AOL shares. You do not believe that KP had a large say so in this?
